The Hook is more than a tour company. We are a destination on the La Paz Malecón — a boutique shop, tour booking desk, bar, and artisan market all under one roof at the heart of Paseo Alvaro Obregon.

Walk in off the Malecón, book your Whale Shark tour, browse local merch, grab a drink, and meet the team that will take you out on the water. And say hello to Layla — she's in the shop most days. The mercado patio behind the shop is home to local artisans, jewelers, and vendors — a true La Paz experience.

Every Hook boat tour is led by a certified marine biologist. We contribute to ongoing research on the La Paz Whale Shark population and Sea of Cortez ecosystems.

We follow every SEMARNAT and CONANP regulation and go beyond the minimum requirements. The ocean comes first — always and without exception.

Small Groups Forever

Maximum 10 guests on The Hook boats. For larger groups and collective tours we work with trusted partners — relationships built over 6 years.
