Balandra Bay sits 23 kilometers north of La Paz — a protected national park cove with impossibly turquoise water, white sand beaches, mangrove channels, and the iconic El Hongo mushroom rock rising from the shallows. The Hook takes you there by boat — no highway traffic, no parking, no crowds. Small group, and one of the most spectacular natural settings in all of Baja California Sur.
