Fishing charters depart from Ensenada de Muertos. Transport from La Paz is not included in the tour price but is available for an additional fee — ask when you book. The Hook's captains are from Agua Amarga and have worked these waters their entire lives.

Fishing from the panga, our captains toss live sardines to hold the fish boatside — keeping the rooster fired up and in range for those few critical seconds you need to drop the fly in the strike zone and strip fast. They read the fish, position the panga, and create the window. You make the cast — they give you the chance.

6:30 AM — Meet at the Boat Ramp

Meet your captain at Ensenada de Muertos. The local bait co-op boat meets you on the water to load fresh live sardines into the live well.

Fish Isla Cerralvo

Multiple locations around Isla Cerralvo, working the currents where the world record roosterfish was caught.

12:30–1:00 PM — Return to the Ramp

Back at Ensenada de Muertos by early afternoon. Lunch and drinks included throughout the day.
